MSE Students Recognized at George Tech Student Honors Celebration

Two MSE students were recognized at the Georgia Tech Student Honors Celebration last Wednesday.

Katherine Adams received the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) Student Chapter Award for Graduating Seniors. This annual award has been given for over 40 years to the materials science and engineering graduating senior focused on a polymer-fiber-textile career path, and who best meets the AATCC requirements. The award consists of a $500 check from AATCC, a certificate, a copy of the Color Vision and Technology book, and a free one-year AATCC membership.

Chunzi Liu received the School of Materials Science and Engineering Outstanding Senior Award, presented to the outstanding senior in materials science and engineering with the highest overall GPA. The award consists of a certificate and a gift of $500.
